Hello everyone.
My partner and I are renovating a mobile home from 1988.
When we bought it, we knew there was moisture damage in the kitchen, so we tore everything out and rebuilt it the way we wanted.
I made a drawer that I naively thought could slide on a shelf, but no dice.
I would be very grateful if someone could give me advice on how to build a drawer in a simple way that can handle some weight and how to make it slide easily.

Before the transformation. Interior of a renovated mobile home kitchen with white cabinets, a dining table with chairs, and decorative items, showing the almost completed renovation.
After the renovation (almost complete) Modernized caravan kitchen with wooden shelves, tiled backsplash, and stainless steel sink after renovation.

There are plenty of ways to build boxes, and to make it good, both knowledge and work are required. But what you can try is to "wax" the box and the shelf with wax or paraffin. It won't be "right" according to how it should be, but it can make quite a difference. Give it a try.

A picture of the box? And what kind of shelves are they? Wood against wood untreated creates quite a bit of friction naturally.
