Build Wall HELP
Will test with the post tomorrow. It's a galvanized fence post, looks roughly like the round posts in the picture via the link. http://www.stangselbolaget.se/image/Industrist%C3%A4ngsel%20Galvat.jpg
Is it okay for the wooden beam I have at the bottom to be directly against the concrete when indoors? Outdoors, should there be some kind of paper in between?
JanneL. Thanks for the tips, but I will not have a beam in the ceiling.
Zankan. Thanks for the tips, but I feel compelled to use 45x45 beams since I need to adapt the wall to an existing wall built in this manner.
Cheetah1, the post is galvanized, but as you say, I'm a little scared of the drilling. I have a stud finder but don't really trust them. Hope it goes well. Will also drill some smaller holes for expansion plugs.

Have you put any boards on it or is it just studs so far? Because if you have attached the studs properly and then screw on particle boards, it will be braced quite a bit...
I've attached a drywall sheet but will remove it tomorrow as I plan to attach the post.Björn_Nilsson said:
Are there chipboards that are 13 mm?
The closest I can find is 12 mm and that's not enough.
