Build up the floor to make it level

Hello

We have renovated a storage room. It includes completely new walls with insulation, ceiling, and floor.

We have some varying levels that we can't avoid, and in the space furthest in, we intend to have a bed/mattress on the floor since we have low ceiling height.

Unfortunately, the floor slopes quite a bit as you can see in the pictures.

and due to windows at a low level, we can't level the floor from edge to edge.

The plan now is to just level the floor where the mattress will be. Size 160cm x 200cm. Height 20cm.

Since we haven't previously leveled a floor or area as in this case, I'm wondering if anyone has tips or a blueprint on how to build such a construction under the bed.

Both regarding material choice and how we do it most easily.

And so it looks nicest around? What do you use on the surfaces? OSB? Gypsum or something else?

As you can see, the floor is already covered with OSB boards. So it just needs to be leveled where the bed will stand, and it can slope where the bed won't stand.

The craftsman who did everything else unfortunately can't build the last part. So we are considering whether we should tackle this ourselves.

If it's a regular box spring, it would be enough to just adjust the length of the legs. It's minimal and is the easiest to carry out.

Alternatively, screw in frame pieces as legs and then cover it with, for example, plywood.

If you want to correct the surface of the floor instead, the easiest way is to build a framework of studs, which you then lift to be level and screw the studs down towards the existing floor. Then everything is covered with plywood or gypsum.

Regardless of the method, the bed should be prevented from sliding downwards. So anchor everything to the wall or floor.
