We are almost done with the renovation of our upstairs, but we're missing a staircase railing/guardrail.
We are interested in something similar to the following:

How would you go about assembling something like that? You can see in the picture how it should be positioned. It is mainly flat, but one end of the railing follows three steps down. Where can you get the materials?
