Build in wardrobe

Hello,

I have set up some Ikea Pax wardrobes in the bedroom. They are not precisely in the corner because there are some pipes there. I want to build a panel to screen off the area. The white panel needs to be 2370mm x 150mm. What board would you recommend? I will need to cut out a part of the panel to make a hole for the pipes.

Great to have more wardrobes!

Here are my - COMPLETELY amateurish - thoughts

Maybe frame and use white vertical rough paneling/beaded paneling/paneling instead of a board?

Or use a white shelf as a board?


Or check Ikea's bargain section for a cover panel?

Or build a shelf in the "hole in the corner"?

Hornbach has really large shelves that look just like Ikea's chipboard.
