A corner bench with wood storage underneath, styled with cushions beside a dining table and chairs in a brightly lit room with white walls.
I'm planning to build something similar to this. How do you ensure the strength of a bench so it can withstand a few hundred kg?

Second question, how do you achieve the brick/plaster look? Is there a way to fake it?

I had made a frame in, for example, 45x70 raw timber, and then covered it with MDF. Screw and glue it, and it becomes super strong.

I am doubtful about getting a plaster-like surface. I've seen some plaster-like paint that you roll on and it becomes rough, but whether it's nice or not, I'll leave unsaid...

awesome, thanks!
