I divided a room into two bedrooms a year ago. I used 45*95; it turned out steady and good. I insulated, primarily to maintain different temperatures in the rooms. Insulation is cheap and easy to put in, so there's no reason not to.
I used simple drywall. If I were to do it again, I would use OSB+double drywall on one side and OSB+single drywall on the other. Just single drywall makes it too noisy between the bedrooms, which are now adjacent. OSB makes it easier to put things up.
If you want to make it easy for yourself, check the thickness of the door frame and calculate outwards with the panels. If I remember correctly, the frame is usually 95mm. If you then put single drywall, it sticks out 13 mm beyond the frame. There are door trims that are routed 13 mm to cover that. If you put 2 panels on 45*95 studs, they stick out 26 mm, making it hard to find matching trims (at least if you shop at Byggmax). The solution is to cut down the stud by 26 mm or use a 45*70 or 70*70 stud and do a bit of extra spackling.
Summary: use insulation and OSB+drywall. Calculate how thick the studs need to be, with the door frame's thickness and the door trims you find/want being the determining factors.
