Bucket adhesive ?

We will install 17 boards of 6 mm renovation plasterboard on our bumpy walls to avoid excessive spackling. Previously, when I've done this, I used construction adhesive in a cartridge from Byggmax, and I can already feel how tiresome it is to squeeze these out through the gun. Is there construction adhesive available in a bucket, i.e., a bit more at a time and easier to apply, or is it time for a better gun?

Or perhaps cut a larger hole in the cartridge tip..?
