Hello

I have bought my own house with a number of flaws that need to be addressed, and I don't really have much knowledge, but I want to try to fix as much as possible myself. Here I have a small part of the hallway where there's a drywall ceiling, where the edge of the drywall appears to be worn out. HOW do I fix this so it looks good?
All tips are gratefully received!

Carve the edge of the drywall so that about half of the wooden stud is visible. Place a new stud just inside the sliding door track and put up a new piece of drywall to cover the holes.

Don't forget to tell your electrician that there is an incomplete joint between the electrical conduit and hose underneath (or even better, get someone to fix it before you put up the new drywall, it's not really up to code today...)
