Hi, I accidentally stress-bought posts in the wrong dimension. The posts I bought are 90x90 while the adjustable shoes I bought for the piles are 98mm between the irons, which leaves quite a big gap. The closest I can find is a post shoe that measures 96mm.

I'm building a 23m2 deck, is it enough to place some wedge on the other side of the post against the iron? How would you have done it?

I had placed a flat bar on each side 2.5mmx2=5mm
It's a nuisance to sell printed posts that measure 90mm, when everything else is adapted for 95.

Exactly why I ended up buying just 90mm:confused:

I have decided to replace the post supports with smaller ones and cut away the piece that gets in the way.

I would go with plastic shims

I had kept the balkskor
Screwed the posts with three Essve WAF screws. One from each side at the top and on one side at the bottom.
