A few years ago, I cleaned my garden tiles outside with some good product, not only did they become clean but they also bleached nicely. (Quite a strong product indeed).

Now I can't remember what the product was called and I'm Googling myself to death trying to find it. Does anyone know something similar?

I use chlorine!
(After high-pressure cleaning)

Not likely that they were bleached. They probably became as clean and bright as when they were new. Probably something lye-based (high pH) that cleans everything thoroughly.

Don't all the flowers and trees around die when using chlorine?

Wasn't it garden tiles TS was supposed to bleach?

Yes?

Jo?
My tip for you was to use the chlorine solution on the tiles, not on flowers and trees.
But you are right, one should explain thoroughly. :)

It should be windless, with a degreasing spray or similar, 1/10 chlorine, the rest water. Be careful with the surrounding vegetation, use safety goggles and a respirator that handles organic vapors. One should absolutely not drink the chlorine solution, if you accidentally take a sip, call 112 immediately and refer to this text.
;)

when I rinse away the solution, it's likely to end up passing through a flower bed in one way or another. Or should I let it sit and dry away on its own?

I was joking with you, you’re right it might not be so suitable with bleach.
But if you’re careful, it might work if you don't flood with the solution?
And, as you write, it should dry out on its own.

You were right Johan Gunverth. The pressure washer removed the coating and they became bright and nice again - completely without any agents :)

Chlorine breaks down quite quickly, and if you dilute it thoroughly by rinsing, it doesn't become that environmentally harmful after all...
