Hello, we want black floors and it's not good with black lacquer on pine as there is a high risk of cracks in the lacquer because we have underfloor heating. Staining black was also not okay as it apparently becomes uneven on the hard and soft parts of the wood.

Anyone have any tips?

Rustibus Floor Paint should work.

Hi,
I saw in a magazine a kitchen that had pine floors that were almost blackened using oil stain with color pigments in it.
Maybe it would work?

If you can consider oak flooring instead of pine, you apply ammonia to your untreated oak floor.

The ammonia reacts with the tannic acid in the oak and the result is a black surface.
A little ammonia gives a dark "antique" surface, more ammonia = blacker surface..
