Best to tile on a "clean" or painted drywall?
Planning to tile in our small kitchen in the cottage. The wall (about 3 meters) is plastered and ready. Some parts of the wall will be painted with regular wall paint with gloss 20 once everything is finished (at the top, some corners, a small gable, behind the stove, etc.). I'm thinking of painting the entire wall first before tiling, to avoid masking and complications later.
The question now is whether this makes a better or worse surface for the tiles, and if I should then skip painting the areas that will be tiled.

If you have a choice, it is generally better with unpainted plaster, but it is okay to tile on paint that has good adhesion. So, it doesn't matter in your case, but there is really no reason to paint where tiles will be placed.
