Considering building a balcony on the carport roof where it would be nice to have a spa bath. The question, however, is whether the carport can support a 40m2 deck and a 2-ton spa bath.
The options, either reinforce the carport or build a steel "frame" with I-beam or Hollow section.
The next challenge is that the roof is covered with tar paper with about a 7-degree slope, and the window (today) that I will replace with a balcony door determines the floor height. So there isn't much space between the roof and the level where the decking will land.
