Hi

Used a nail gun which was quick and easy. Since we were going to paint white afterwards, I dabbed carpenter's filler in the small, small marks before painting. It turned out perfect.
If you feel like you have the time and inclination, you can also go over the nail holes with a damp cloth. The wood will then swell and completely hide the nail holes after a few treatments... Boring job but a solution for those who don't like nail holes.

Considering whether to use panel clips + screws this time for the beadboard ceiling (14x95) instead of T1 brads (1.2x40) double nailing in the tongue + wood glue between the joist and panel, what do you think?

It was really smooth to shoot with the nail gun when I installed the same panel in the bathroom, but in hindsight, one wonders if it will hold over the years...

I've now framed at cc70 because the subflooring has that center-to-center measurement, meaning the joists are attached to the beams instead of the old panel ceiling, but they should work, right?
