Hi

We are fond of pärspontpanel and are planning to install it on our ceilings. What is the best/most attractive way to install these, nail clips, screws??

Grateful for a response

clips or nail gun in my opinion

If you are using a nail gun, where do you place the nail then??

If you place the nail in the "rillan" or whatever it's called, that groove on the front, it's almost invisible.

I have nailed the roof with the nail right in the middle of the plank. With the right nail and oistol, you can get them to penetrate just the right amount and then they are hardly visible after a while.

Thank you for your answers...using a nail gun sounds easy. Does anyone have experience with clips, is it cumbersome??

It does take longer than nailing, but it's not difficult and it goes faster once you've gotten the hang of it. I use clips everywhere in the ceiling.

Hi

I used a nail gun, which was quick and easy. Since we were going to paint white, I dabbed carpenter's filler in the tiny, tiny marks before painting. It turned out perfect.

Hello.
Just put up "pärlspont" in the bathroom. There is a type of board from Panelskivan that looks like pärlspont. However, much easier to put up. Glued it all up, convenient! Might be a bit of a hassle the day they need to come down, but, well.... that's a problem for later.

I've looked a bit at the panel board myself, but what about the longitudinal joints?
Does it look like it's a board?

It works perfectly fine to nail beadboard with brads. If you place the nail in the bead, it won't be visible at all!!

Screwed panel clips, I don't like the idea of the ceiling hanging on nails.
I have a feeling it will come down one fine day ;D

Just like our old treetex ceilings, they are coming down because the nails have crept out.

Well nailed, it will stay where it is. At least for 40 years+

How close is it intended to nail/screw? cc45 or cc60?

For nail battens, you should use cc60, so that is also an appropriate nail/screw distance.
