Hi!
I'm in the process of renovating my bathroom and have a few questions.
The bathroom is on the ground floor with a basement underneath. The basement has a vaulted ceiling. The bathroom floor has been chipped out, leaving the vault. I was thinking of doing it like this: I'll put a construction plastic on the wall up to where I'll pour the floor (to protect the wooden wall), then lay 100 mm polystyrene reinforcement on it and then pour with quick-drying concrete. Then there will be waterproofing and tiles, but my concern is if the moisture in the concrete will be trapped because the polystyrene is too dense, or does anyone have a better idea?
