I would gladly accept tips on choosing flooring and wall materials for a house built in '79.
Re-drained this summer. Now it's time to replace the flooring in the basement shower corner.
The shower corner has a bubble on the floor.
Currently, there's a decent linoleum floor and plastic walls, fresh and welded.
What should the moisture meter show before new material is installed?
The budget suggests a plastic mat since the craftsmanship time is extensive?

A matter of taste really, and taste is like a behind :)
I choose tiles 11 times out of 10 in your case, nicer and more pleasant in every way according to me.
