Hello all builders! I'm in the process of re-siding my two-story house externally. I now need to move the bargeboards out by 10 cm. The old ones consisted of a simple 5m water-resistant board, attached only at both ends. Not very pretty.

Is there anyone who can describe how I should make my new bargeboards, "braid" them together? Do I start with the board at the bottom? Is it best to assemble the whole package and then put it in place? A sketch would be appreciated if you have one. Grateful if you could help me.

I placed the first board in the tongue and groove roof, then clamped the next one and screwed it into the first one.

Thank you Jan-Å. I shall test.

I think I used Grabber panel screws.
