Attefall house with longitudinal loft

Hello,
We are planning to build an Attefall house with a modern roof, meaning higher at one end and lower at the other. Dimensions approximately 6.8*4.4 m with a loft. We are thinking of a loft along the long side, so the loft will be on the high part of the house, about 2.2 m deep. We are looking at different building kits and are wondering why no one makes lofts on the long side, only on the short side. Is there something about that construction that is not good?
