Attaching teak and oak moldings, choice of nails.

I am going to install teak strips on the outside of my "newly installed" teak door, how do I attach these in the most stylish way? Brass nails or should I use adhesive? Galvanized brads don't feel quite right...
The same goes for oak strips inside around the bathroom window, here the casing is oak and I was thinking of pre-drilling and using brass nails.

I think brass nails look nice in oak, and they should look good in teak as well. Pre-drilling oak strips is a good plan, getting thin nails into oak can be tricky...
