Attaching moldings to lightweight concrete.
I mean God, you all know so much in here. I'm a list installer and do this every day of the week. So basically a list expert. You can of course install lists against lightweight concrete with brads. This works very well with a trick at 8-9 bar and 30mm nails. Everything else people say is just unnecessary, it takes unnecessary time. So that's that.
Welcome to the forum!
The thread you are responding to is two years old, just so you know. You also don't become an expert on lists just by working with it all the time. The chance is greater that you can do several things than a randomly chosen person, but you don't become an expert by doing the same thing all the time without reflection.
Sure, you can nail with dyckert in lightweight concrete; no one has questioned that. Probably no enormous pressure is needed either. The problem, which I have experienced, is that the lists come loose if you nail them with dyckert. Hence the tip to glue them as well. It doesn't take that much longer.

The house was sold 2 years ago, but it's always interesting to learn. What should I have done?J Joseph1969 said:I mean, God, you all know so much here. Glue with setting glue (casco superfix or similar) and shoot with a brad nailer, ideally in a zigzag pattern, meaning angle the nailer slightly to either the right or left alternately. It works every time I've done it at least, and it's more times than I dare to think about
