Attaching glass panel to stud frame?
I'm in the process of building a solar panel from some old stuff I have lying around.
I have 4 tempered glass pieces that I plan to set on a pressure-treated frame. I've Googled a bit for strips/profiles that can be used to hold the glass in place but haven't found anything perfect. I guess I'm not really searching for the right words.
The idea was to lay some rubber strip on the frame. Then place the glass on top and finally an L-profile that goes over the glass and is screwed into the frame (and also some rubber against the glass there). I assume there are ready-made items for this??
For the joints between the glass (4 glass pieces, 3 joints Glass||Glass....) I thought I'd just apply a silicone bead from top to bottom, but maybe that won't hold?

Assume the panes should be tilted horizontally?
Not sure what applies with strong tilting. Otherwise, simple pins and putty are proven methods to hold the glass in windows... It of course depends on how big the panes are; if they are much larger/thicker/heavier than regular window glass, pins and putty might not be suitable.
What kind of panes are they? Size, thickness, weight? Intended tilt?
Edit: I see that the words glashållare, glasclips, and glasfästen are common terms when it comes to greenhouses, maybe check there?

It is 140x90 glass 5mm and quite heavy. They will be tilted at 60 degrees. It would be convenient to have some kind of list that you just screw around to seal and keep everything in place. One idea is as mentioned to just buy a bunch of L profiles in aluminum, apply a bead of silicone, and screw them into the frame.
