Concrete slab with water-based underfloor heating. I have access to a thermal camera and have identified where the underfloor heating runs, but I'm a bit unsure about one spot. Therefore, I'm thinking it might be better to glue these brackets instead?
What adhesive can be relied on to glue directly to concrete?
If you're curious about the thermal camera images, this is why I have doubts. On my first attempt earlier this year, I took this picture: Here you can clearly see where the loops come together, and a very faint line near where the aim is pointing.
Here's a picture I took just now after significantly increasing the floor's heat:
The faint line is no longer visible. Perhaps it was only visible when it was colder earlier this year. Therefore, it's difficult for me to know for sure where it goes, and this is where I need to drill.
I would never drill into a floor with underfloor heating without being 100% sure.
I think it works to glue with, for example, [link]
Sounds reasonable, no I usually am extremely careful before I dare to do that.
That product seems good, do you think it's the best possible product for the purpose?
Should one use some primer beforehand? Maybe use primer that is used before self-leveling compound?
What an odd pattern they've laid the hoses in. Normally you'd lay them with the same c/c across the entire floor, can't you measure it out then? How close do you estimate you need to drill?
As a reference, I recently used the following screw for the inner wall:
