This forum is flooded with discussions and descriptions about free-standing sheds, but no matter how much I search, I can't find anything (other than others' unanswered cries for help) regarding sheds against an existing wall!
I intend to build a shed row for garbage bins, firewood, and garden tools against the long side of the garage and plan to cast piers for the posts and attach a ledger board for the roof beams inspired by how to build a patio roof according to various construction guides. The shed will be about 8m long and 1.5m deep.
Should I have additional ledger boards for, say, a joist at ceiling height for structural support?
The shed will be clad with sparse paneling, how do I best and most attractively attach this assuming starting from the posts?
