Hello!

I'm starting a new thread from the one I started earlier about PL600. I can tell you it didn't work at all with PL600.

I'm trying to attach a corner trim in wood to a door jamb from the inside of a laundry room. The attachment surfaces, besides wood, will consist of tile (one side) and gypsum plaster (other side). In my opinion, an absorbent material and a non-absorbent one :)

I tried PL600 today and after 2 hours of pressure with 5 clamps, it was easy to remove the trim with my fingers. It was quite easy to scrape off the excess adhesive from the tile and the trim, so I'm back to square one, you could say.

Which adhesive should I use for wood to adhere to tile? PL400? I have a bunch of quick grip clamps so holding it under pressure is not a problem. Grateful for any tips.

Answering myself :). Got a tip from a friend who is a handyman and he recommended Sikabond 500. I have attached a strip with it and secured it with 5 clamps. Now I'm letting the clamps stay for 1 day and I'll hope for the best. I can update on how it went.
