Hello!
Started building a workbench in the garage over the weekend, where I also plan to install a sink. The sink is second-hand, and I'm wondering how best to attach it to the countertop that is 11 mm thick.

Tips are gratefully received. Attaching some pictures below. I think the sink is actually meant to be attached to a countertop that is about 30 mm thick, but I'm not very skilled at building yet

The countertop will rest on the "frame" of 45x70, then I'll make a hole and place the sink.
The question is how I best attach the sink to the 11 mm top, or if I should build something extra for it to attach to?
Glue?

The "clips" attached to the sink are partially intact, so some of those seem reusable (though I don't quite understand what they should be attached to)

The tags on the clips should rest against the underside of the countertop, and you fasten them with screws. The clips are probably intended for a 30 mm thick panel.

That's what I suspected.
What to do? Can I buy new clips for a thinner slab? Or can I make the slab thicker just where the clips are supposed to clamp? From underneath, that is.

I think an idea is starting to form in my brain now  I'll get back with results (if it turns out well)

It ended up being blocks of leftover floor molding to put between.
