Hello,
I have a somewhat strange question, but I'll try to describe as much as I can. I have an old, old door to a garage where the lock itself is like a Spanish lock, but a hundred years old and made of cast iron. Now, the issue is that the "pin" that holds the door in place at the bottom when you lock it has come loose because the concrete broke. So now I'm wondering how I might be able to fix this. I have attached a drawing I made so you can understand better.

The light gray is the concrete and the dark gray is a metal edge. Then the white is the actual damage where the concrete has come loose down to the earth. Would it work to mix some concrete and pour it around the pin or is there perhaps some adhesive in a tube or similar?

Thank you in advance!

Is the piggen still on the door?
I thought it might be convenient to drive a pipe into the ground and fill in some cement around it.
The pipe should have a diameter larger than the piggen on the door (if I got everything right) ;)

A bit of house fixing and an iron pipe sounds sensible for a "patch repair". I probably would have done so.
