Hello!
I'm renovating a basement room. I got worried that I might have inhaled asbestos. Didn't think about it until afterward. There is no so-called black glue under the carpet, which contains asbestos. But it's the walls I'm worried about. Tore off old fabric wallpaper. There's some white paint underneath. Could it contain asbestos? I'll send it for analysis.

  • Peeling white paint on a basement wall with visible patches of grey underneath, possibly tested for asbestos during renovation.
  • Peeling paint on a basement wall, showing worn and damaged white surface with brown patches. Concern about asbestos presence in this renovation project.
  • Close-up of a damaged wall with peeling white paint and exposed rough surface, possibly containing asbestos, during a basement renovation.

Hi!

The house was built in 1969

I don't think it's asbestos. However, if it is, a single exposure is not dangerous.
On the other hand, it looks like the walls are made of blåbetong. Not good, they can emit radon. Do a radon measurement.
