Wondering if anyone else has experience with Ardex X77. I've recently used this adhesive but find it "dry" compared to others. The setting time is stated as one hour, but given how the adhesive behaves, it seems unlikely that's possible. If mixed as instructed, it turns out very dry, and even when mixed with more water, it still sets very quickly. However, it has very good hanging capabilities. The location I'm working in is about 15 degrees, so it shouldn't be too warm either. I have to mix fairly small batches to prevent it from "skinning"... Otherwise, I only have good experiences with Ardex products.
