Applying a new thin layer of plaster
Hello! I'm going to do the same thing as you! How did you manage to get an even surface to paint on? Take care
Hi, I would recommend finja gipsputs, much easier to work with. Best regards, Tobbe
Plaster is applied or troweled, then finished with a float or brushed depending on the desired final surface, does not usually need to be reinforced/netted in normal cases.
Moisten the surface thoroughly then apply mortar with a trowel from bottom to top. Not too wide—I would guess about a 30-40 cm wide trowel. After a while, once it’s on the wall, you need to scrub it together to achieve a uniform structure. Timing is key here. It should partially set, but not too much. Wet the float and remove excess from the sponge. Change the water quite often.J Joel_larsson said:
It's not easy to achieve a gypsum wall finish for a rookie like me, so I chose to paint on an evened-out wall filler with sand in it to get a texture.
I can take some photos so you can see how mine turned out.
You can use it in the basement.

It said to cross-paint for the best result, but after doing that on the exterior foundation, I don't think it turned out well. I don't remember if I rolled the interior, but I think so. I will roll it when I continue on the foundation anyway.
Exactly the product I was looking atP Phasio said:
