Does anyone know what this fitting is called?
Used to mount lamps on the ceiling/wall.

Thanks in advance!

  • Metal bracket for mounting lamps on ceiling or wall, with two holes, lying on a wooden surface.
It is probably difficult to find a standard model that fits if that is what you are looking for? The easiest way is probably to check if it is available as a spare part for your specific lamp.

Lamp holder?

The easiest is probably to check if it's available as a spare part for just your lamp.
No, no standard needed, will be used for another project. But curious about what they are called as I need more.

I'm bumping up this thread. I'm on the hunt for four of these. I've googled myself blue on "u-fäste", "u-beslag" and "u-bygel" without finding the right one. I've also visited hardware stores and tried to come up with an English translation to order from abroad but without success. There must be SOMEONE who sells brackets for lamps?

Looks like it could be one of IKEA's lamp fixtures. I would check if it is available as a spare part with them.

Is actually just a bent metal strip, not too complicated to manufacture for a person of normal intelligence :)

If you have an angle grinder and a vise, you can easily make them yourself...
