Anchoring thick frame in aerated concrete
I have a frame about 7cm thick (2m high) in pine that I want to anchor in aerated concrete. Previously, I attempted with another frame with pre-drilled holes (4 in total) with plugs, but noticed that two of the long screws may not have gripped properly. Now I'm about to do the next frame and I'm considering temporarily fixing the frame, drilling through the frame and about 5cm into the aerated concrete, and then inserting some combined plug and screw. Does anyone have suggestions for a smooth solution/method since I haven't done this before?
(I fear I won't get too many attempts to drill holes in the aerated concrete due to its sensitivity)

There are screws intended for light concrete, Leca blocks that hold like rock without plugs. No pre-drilling, just screw them in with a firm pressure on the screwdriver (be careful not to over-tighten the fastening, though, as it will come loose).
PS. You mention that the screws only go 5 cm into the light concrete, that sounds weak for attaching a 7 cm thick frame. Is there anything preventing you from using screws that go at least 10 cm into the light concrete?

Absolutely right, but do you know if there are ones narrow enough to be used in adjufixen?H Harald Blåtumme said:

No, if it's adjufix screws, you should check if there are variants intended for lightweight concrete, they should be significantly longer and thicker to work in lightweight concrete by themselves without plugs or chemical anchors. I have no experience using frame screws in lightweight concrete, so I'll have to pass on that question.
Attached a similar frame to our 70mm siporex walls in the garage. Drill, blow out the dust, fill with heavy filler, insert any plug and let it dry thoroughly. Then screw in, it will hold incredibly well.
Also managed to attach a 45x70-ostbåge straight to the wall in the same way.
