Hello,
I have been trying to find an alternative to the plaster from the 50s on the inside of the concrete block in our standalone cold garage, but haven't found any.
It has started to get really bad as it is today, and before we bring in someone to redo all the plastering, we would like to know if there's any sufficient alternative that might be easier for us to handle ourselves. (We tried plastering ourselves, but it didn't turn out so well)
Could some cement-based board be good? Can it be placed directly against the wall if so? Framing it would eat up too much space in the already small garage.
I'm not sure how it would be behind that with stagnant air that might get bad and damp?
