Hi, has anyone bought materials at AKB in Länna? Supposedly good prices, but they want cash upfront or payment in advance...

AKB is a good supplier, especially the planed wood products, i.e., moldings and such, are of high quality. Lowest prices south of town unless you get quotes for really large loads.

OK thanks for the input, time to finalize the agreement for all our materials for 200 m2 funkis, it's going to be a lot of meters of glulam and other planks. It will be interesting to see the price levels at various hardware stores. We should be able to get a 15-20% discount, don't you think?

Yes, that is exactly correct. We have a request for a quote out that should actually give a price and not just a discount.

My dear supplier of pressure-treated wood had forgotten about me when I was supposed to pick up the decking on Thursday. And the sawmill had gone on vacation, and he too for that matter.
What to do?

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I was supposed to get help to screw in the decking so there was a bit of a panic.

At 07:30 I call AKB, at 11:15, 1000 meters of 28x120 stands on the designated spot on the yard.

AKB rocks big time. 8)
