Now the demolition is complete, currently framing for insulation, but I have a question that I need to discuss a bit.
Spoke with Isover, so it will now be old paneling, 145mm insulation, membrane, 45 insulation osb/gypsum on the walls.
But since I will also be insulating the roof, my plan is to install a ventilation gap up to the ridge; how does one do that at the ridge, just let the boards meet and tape the joint?
And another question, as I am keeping the old wooden panel and will add west coast board on it, how should the opening for air be resolved? How should it be?
I will be replacing the roof next year, thinking with insect netting to make it tight?
