Adjufix and other frame sleeves, optional screws?

Is there any specific reason to use the manufacturer's screws for the same socket?
Shouldn't it work just as well with any wood screws, plugs, concrete screws, etc.?

Yes, only the head goes in.
The Adjufix screws have a small head in comparison to their thickness.
