We are renovating a villa built in 1990, and in connection with this, we had to take down a couple of square meters of ceiling gypsum on the ground floor to access the intermediate floor. Now that we want to put gypsum back up again on a limited part of the ceiling, it turns out that they have stopped manufacturing 9mm short plank in favor of standard 12.5mm boards.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to get 9mm ceiling gypsum anywhere?

Alternatively, we might need to find another solution, for example, putting up a couple of 9mm outdoor gypsum boards even though this type of board isn't tested for indoor use (adhesion, paint, etc.). We will plaster the ceiling completely smooth + use microlite or similar, so it doesn't matter if the potential outdoor gypsum/weatherboard doesn't have beveled edges like short plank.

Comments and alternative solutions are gladly received!

/ Andy
