Is it utterly impossible to get hold of 5400 long 34x145? When you call around, the sellers are completely uninterested in helping and no one has it in stock.

Is it too much to ask to find a batch of 34x145 in the length of 5400mm in 2025?

Have you asked in store? It's often not just about taking it home, but if you're early, it's usually no big problem to swap something in an order and bring home "your" timber. This assumes it's a reasonable quantity for the store. The problem with timber is that it often needs to be ordered in a larger total quantity in the same delivery, and any smaller leftovers of a dimension that's not so common can be hard to sell.
