How long are the HEA beams, the old and the new one? How wide is the house? Is it a standard residential floor that the beams support? HEA 260 is a dimension that is normally not needed in a small house.

The existing one is about 3500 and the new one is 5100.
The house is 7800 internally, a brick villa. Yes, it is a regular residential floor that the beams support. Just where the heart wall is placed, there is only open space on the upper floor. No, I think the designer has used both suspenders and a belt.

Subject to the fact that I have not seen any other drawings than your sketch, I think HEA 260 is oversized. HEA 200 seems more reasonable to me, perhaps HEA 220 if you want to keep the deflection around 1/600. 50 kN is probably a more realistic load on the central pillar. Brick villa, is it really a masonry house and not just façade brick?

No, you're right, it's just facade brick!
Thanks for all the answers!
