2//195x45 vs glulam

What is equivalent to 2 C24 195x45 that are glued and nailed in glulam?
It will be used as a beam for about 3m...

Do you have two 195X45 today and want to replace them? The easiest way is probably to calculate which laminated beam is needed where you want it, rather than starting from what is installed today.

Have nothing there yet... but I'm wondering if 2//195x45 is enough or if I need to modify more to fit a glulam...

Hi, how did you solve it? I'm in the same situation with two openings of 1.8m with load-bearing columns in between.

It turned out to be 2//45x195 and it works perfectly, got help from the local hardware store to check if it would work.
