Identify rebar load-bearing wall

Hello, is it possible to identify rebar in a 25 cm thick load-bearing concrete wall? Are there any types of tools? I've heard stud finders and magnets should work. Does anyone here know approximately how deep the rebar usually sits in the wall? I am going to open an 8 cm deep, 30 wide, and height hole, almost to the middle of the wall. I'm going to follow the picture, but I can't break the rebar according to the association.

Yes, it entirely depends on how the person who reinforced the wall did it, you'll probably need to chisel and see how it looks. Is there no possibility to frame the wall instead to avoid the hassle with the wall?

Yes, but we have to move the kitchen forward 8 cm which becomes tight... wondering if anyone here knows if there is some kind of standard on the reinforcement of walls in new constructions.

Normally, the reinforcement is 25-30mm in from the surface and 100-150mm c/c. There are scanners available for rent that show where your reinforcement is located.

If the reinforcement is relatively shallow, try moving a neodymium magnet over the wall. These can be purchased at many places nowadays, but they can also be found in mechanical hard drives. Just unscrew an old drive and take it out.

Update:

Hired a structural engineer and received the written statement. 1500kr. According to the engineer, a load-bearing concrete wall of such depth has no issues with cutting the reinforcement for a basic opening.
Now the board will make a decision, which I have already received verbal approval for as long as I have the engineer's statement.
Maybe I can start already this year.
