Mounting TV on stud behind drywall
Hello
I'm going to mount a TV, but we have a plasterboard wall that is attached to studs behind it. I was thinking of first buying a stud finder to see where the studs are located. Is it enough to screw the TV mount into the studs, or do I need to drill them in? I was thinking of using a longer wood screw to secure the TV mount?
The weight of the TV is 20kg.

Like this one. No need for pre-drilling. If you have a metal stud and not wood, there are ones with a tip suitable for that.

Thanks for all the answers but the TV will stay on the TV table.
