Hello,

We are doing some renovations at home and I have some questions regarding a few walls.

I have marked the walls in red that we want to remove, if it is possible without reinforcing anything.
Floor plan of a terraced house with red lines indicating walls in a hall and between bedroom and living room, potentially to be removed. Floor plan of a basement in a terraced house, with a red-marked wall in the hobby room. Features include utility, laundry, and bedrooms.

It is a terraced house on a sloping plot.

Here are the drawings we received from the municipality.

Blueprint of a multi-level building with specific walls marked in red for potential removal. Structural details and measurements are shown throughout. Blueprint showing building plans with measurements for a terraced house, featuring walls marked in red for potential removal. Blueprint of a terraced house showing interior walls, with certain walls marked in red for removal without reinforcement. Measurements included. Blueprint of a terraced house with highlighted red walls considering removal; shows structural layout for renovation discussion. Blueprint of a house with several vertical lines marking walls, some highlighted in red to indicate potential removal. Measurements are labeled in meters. House sectional blueprint showing structural details of walls and foundation. Red lines indicate walls proposed for removal in a terraced hillside house. Blueprint of a terraced house with red-marked walls for potential removal. Various measurements and structural details are visible.

Anyone know?

Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the Byggahus forum!

None of the partition walls on the upper floor are load-bearing since the roof trusses are free-spanning between the exterior walls. Neither is the red-marked wall in the basement load-bearing. Load-bearing walls on this floor are perpendicular in relation to the red one.
