How to remove steel nails from a concrete wall? We have removed the baseboards and now the nails (probably steel) remain in the concrete wall. What's the smartest way to do it without damaging the wall with large chunks falling off? I want to avoid having to fill in if possible.

Thanks in advance

Multitool and cut the nails.

Do you already have an angle grinder or will it be too much force? The nails stick out about 10mm.

Bend them with a crowbar, hammer, tongs or something similar.

It is possible, but you still risk damaging the concrete slightly. There is also a fire hazard when using an angle grinder indoors.

Steel nails don't bend, and the protruding part from the wall is too short, very afraid that large chunks from the wall will break off.

I assume you want to put new moldings there. Then it's fine to snip off the nails with pincers. A small tip of 1 mm will remain, which can easily be pressed into the new molding.

Buy a hacksaw blade and saw by hand. Protect the wall with a piece of cardboard or similar.

Thank you for all the answers, will borrow a multislip

Then you'll need to have strong grips if you're taking steel nails with pincers.

If they are already cut, take a hammer and drive the nail to the desired depth.
