Hi,

I am writing this in english to ensure that there is nothing lost in translation. I am danish, and not that good at swedish, sorry :blushing:

About a year ago we renovated our kitchen, and while doing so, we removed some cabinets, which meant that a wire for lighting was no longer needed. We were not quite sure if we would use it for something later on, so we just let it hang there. However, we are now considering selling our house, and I was thinking whether we had to call a electrician or if it was okay to place "wire-ends" on it, and "push" it into the wall. It would then be hidden, and I am not sure whether this is legal in sweden or not.

I have attached a picture so you can see it.

Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter.

The cable needs to be disconnected at the fusebox. Call an electrician if you do not have the knowledge required to perform this work yourself.

Alright thanks, any idea how long time / price this would take an electrician. It is nice to know what a fair price would be.

Just to remove the cable and disconnect it should take less than a hour.
Maybe around 500 kr inkl VAT.

The easyest thing to do is to put a junction box at the wall there the cable ends. Be shure to switch off the power first.

Otherwise it will propably be a quick job for an electrician to disconnect the cable.
