I realize that many here on the forum and also in the thread have their own houses, where one can choose and do exactly as one wishes.
I'm thinking about newer apartments, townhouses, and simpler villa constructions that are mass-produced. I suspect that it's quite common to have single gypsum there?

Felde: I believe your analysis is completely correct.
Of course, it's easy to sit and write that single gypsum and uninsulated interior walls should be banned when you yourself can influence the whole thing.
I hope it resolves itself in the best possible way (considering the circumstances) for you.

Regarding the price of 79', it's not as simple as just the extra boards (plywood ~200kr/board) and labor costs. You have to account for everything else, door frames, electrical boxes, etc., that deviate from the standard level. It needs to be ordered, delivered, invoiced. Anything special in mass production becomes more expensive for these reasons, but 79' more expensive, well. There's probably a pretty good percentage added on the option as well. Unfortunately, it's not really the city's price that prevails in the option catalog.

We are generally a bit overwhelmed by the additional choices. Extreme markups (at least on the parts I know of). But I also understand that the developer needs to make money, and that there are intermediaries and so on.
Eran - yes, those are important aspects that you bring up. It's also quite valuable to have it done when you move in, so you don't have to do the work yourself in 5 years. Working hours, special orders, etc., as you mention, are clearly time and energy that cost.
The sum is hard to accept. But I also see the benefits of it...
