Wood paneling on interior exterior wall
Wood paneling instead of wallpaper?
There is neither OSB nor drywall on the existing wall. It is plastered brick even on the inside of the outer wall. So my question is really about how organic materials are against a stone wall, from a moisture migration perspective.elpaco said:

I didn't mean that you had plaster. I mean in general. It depends on how the intended construction is with your brick wall. But it's likely insulated, right? Otherwise, it would become a cold spot in the winter. But if you're not planning to cover everything, moisture trapping is hardly a big problem. You can conveniently frame out with metal studs and leave an air gap at the bottom. Attach the strip with a small gap against the wall.L Lusen77 said:
