Now it's time to start thinking about the ceiling in my construction. The beams consist of peva45 sheet metal with a height of 2.8 meters. Since I will have some ventilation, electricity, and plumbing above the ceiling, I will have an installation space of 20cm.

I have been thinking about installing gypsum boards on suspended metal studs but now I have started to consider installing wood paneling instead.

But is it possible to install wood paneling on a suspended metal stud?

Hello,
Did you manage to get the wood paneling on the suspended ceiling?
I'm considering the same. Has anyone done it?
Might possibly add with hollow core slabs. Feels like suspended might be a smooth solution instead of drilling all the paneling directly into the hollow core slabs.
Does anyone have another idea?
Happy New Year

Simply screw a wooden batten under the metal rule that you can slide the panel into.

If you're going to use a wooden stud under the metal profile, you can probably skip the metal profile entirely since it doesn't serve much of a purpose.

Haha sorry. Just saw now that the previous thread wasn't about hollow core slabs :)
