I have an aluminum facade that I am going to put wood on.
The aluminum is glued on and is incredibly difficult to remove, so I thought I would just link it up and attach wood paneling on top.
With an air gap between the aluminum, one shouldn't have any moisture problems or anything, right?
I am not planning to add extra insulation.

I would have found out more about the construction behind the metal sheets and how it is doing so you don't potentially build in a problem. You're going to perforate the sheet metal quite a bit when you nail the facade, so any water can easily get in behind and cause moisture problems. Sure, it can be troublesome to remove the metal sheet, but if it's a few days' extra work, it still feels good to have done it when everything is finished.
I have checked as best as I can and it seems completely fine. I plan to screw up the panel with screws short enough that they don't perforate the sheet metal, just the frame. It will probably take a week to remove the sheet metal.
